I was uneducated, I lived in Arizona,
I didn’t mind the heat; I always drank Corona.
Then, I ended up for Halloween in San Diego.
It caused a strange result; I wholly changed my credo.
My urban classy friends took me far and wide around,
Mostly to the places where some culture could be found:

I quickly had to learn a lot of useful stuff,
Pilsner is good for breakfast, for lunch enjoy a Stout.
For dinner have some Belgian Style, Pale Ale is fine for snack,
All day have fun with IPAs but take a Blond to bed.
It’s called a liquid diet, it is healthy and it’s fun,
Doctors recommend it, rock stars do all the time.
You’ll be healthy, wealthy, strong, beautiful and smart,
You’ll find new friends; and you’ll get laid if she’s really drunk!

I moved to San Diego to fulfill my vivid dreams,
I became a scientist, got trained as a chemist.
Take some malted barley, a bit of other grains,
Add yeast for fermentation of style-specific strains,
A lot of clear water, don’t worry about the drought,
Don’t forget the hops, it’s mad science not a craft.
You also need to stay on top of all other people art,
You must consume some liquid gold to get a good result.

You can run, or hike, or cycle, you can even climb.
Take a ride in a hot balloon or glide on a parasail,
First have fun and then enjoy your Stout or Pale Ale.
