'Seeing Things'


I used to be a golden boy up in a Golden State,
I had a lot of cool stuff, make no mistakes.
Parents got me a Mercedes for having perfect grades.
It was fully loaded baby, I rode it, starting crusades.

Cause I wanted to see things that are not there,

I fell out of favor with my parents very fast.
And the money that I saved, it didn't even last.
I crashed my Mercedes into my parents’ house,
The car & house in flames & I'm to blame no doubt.

I've been terrified, and I been really moved.
I looked for Holy water in the nearest Church,
I found my disciples up in this endless search.

I have performed miracles, disciples were impressed,
I pulled money out of thin air, moved trains without rails.
I was preaching my religion to the left and to the right,

My crash was very painful, nightmares became my life.
My body just kept hurting, and now I couldn't fly.
Disciples disappeared somehow, after stealing my stuff.
I got locked up in a loony house, cause my parents had enough!

And I have tried to rebel, I have tried to fight,
All I got was some butt juice, & some more meds to bite.
I was put in the straight jacket, to help me to relax.

Now back with my parents, they lock me up all the time.
No cash, no entertainment, no car, freedom, or fun. Why?
At least, they feed me well enough, I have a place to sleep,
But when I'm 18 they'll kick me out. For my horrible deeds.
