I wrote this song after LiL PEEP passed away. When Juice Wrld was also gone I got it recorded. Here is the original first verse that I choose to omit in the song for respect to all great talents that left us way too soon:
Music of my generation
Is a scream of a thirsty vampire,
It’s a screech of a hungry zombie,
The Bloody Mary insane lullaby.
It is noise of trash & dead metal,
Cookie monster vocals and riffs,
It is rap by an already dead rapper
Who got shot or who just ODed.
lyrics
'Stolen Souls’ Song'
Music of my generation
It sounds like noise to me
An insane Bloody Mary lullaby,
A B-list horror movie soundboard
Its all the same to me
And all my heroes have just up and died.
This is the music of empty heads,
This is the music of broken hearts,
This is the music of stolen souls,
This is the music of shattered guitars.
We watch superhero movies
Fighting villains in a war,
Binge on shows that run forever
About sex, drugs, horror and gore,
Consume stupid little memes
That are made for kids with ADD,
Gamers with millions of views
From teens with nothing better to see.
These are the movies for empty heads,
These are the movies for broken hearts,
These are the movies for stolen souls,
Watched through the shattered glass.
We waste time like we live forever,
We do drugs like we’ll always be young.
Our parents are totally clueless,
They’re undead with brains of unborn.
Last generations cut off big pieces,
They left only scattered crumbs,
Global warming, wars & pollution.
We’ll have to sort it all out, at last.
We’re a generation of empty heads,
Generation of broken hearts,
Generation of stolen souls,
And impossible tasks.
Impossible tasks…

I have unusual flow of writing. A song starts with some Hip Hop poetry, then it takes over and gets life of its own turning into rock, metal, pop, punk, ballad or staying a rap banger. Next, I try to pick musicians that are the best for the song. Let's kill some time!...more
